Westlife reveals new single

Having sold over 44 million records worldwide, had 14 number one singles and seven number one albums, great Irish band Westlife are celebrating 14 years of success by releasing their brand new "flagship" single on November 13th (physical 14th) with the release of their "Greatest Hits" November 21.

The single written by Gary Barlow and John Shanks is a classic Westlife immediately recognizable with soaring melodies, catchy lyrics and is one of four new titles to appear on their album.

With two Britons, an MTV Award, a World Music Award, no record of less than four years under their belt and an incredible back catalog spanning over a decade not many artists can compare to Westlife extraordinary success. In the UK alone, they won the title of best selling international band of the decade, scoring 10 multi platinum albums, the third largest number one record in the history of the United Kingdom (with only Elvis Presley and Beatles in advance) and they also hold the crown for the Act on the largest arena of all time in the UK making a record 25 concerts at Wembley Arena.

The group said: 't is almost hard to believe that we have done this for as long as we have. We are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished and look forward to release our Greatest Hits as a special thank you to our fans who supported us throughout our careers. "

The tracklisting will be released at a specific later date, but fans can pre-order the album on Monday. Versions include a standard CD with the Greatest Hits, plus new songs and there will be a deluxe version with 2CD/DVD Greatest Hits, new songs and video.
