Tips to avoid swollen feet While Traveling

1. Hop around
This does not mean you go bunny hopping around the plane! What I mean is take a walk down the aisle from time to time. On a long flight (over 6 hours) you can relax your legs and walk about once an hour. It helps improve blood circulation and prevents you from getting swollen feet and ankles.

2. Elevate your feet
Usually, the seats on a plane are designed so they have a foot rest for the person sitting in the back seat. Use it. Place your feet on the footrest so that they are not absolutely perpendicular to the ground and are slightly high or high. It prevents the blood pooling in your feet.

3. Overhead luggage
Make sure you keep your head instead of luggage at your feet. This way, your legs and feet have enough room to stretch and fit. Many times we keep our purses or carry-on baggage at our feet - a big mistake. It limits the movement of your legs. Toss It Up and make room for your legs.

4. Carry Golf Balls
Confused? I do not blame you, but a golf ball would be just the thing to avoid getting swollen feet on a flight. How? If you can not get up and walk down the aisle of the plane (or you're just embarrassed to do it again and again!) Simply place the golf balls in each of your feet and roll your feet on them! It works great. Otherwise, you can even make a pin kneading.

5. Drink water
Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. No movement coupled with water can quickly make your body stiff. Dehydration can also lead to painful cramps. The chances of getting cramps change even if you are immobile. So much water means you'll have to flush more often, giving you more chances to walk as you go to the bathroom!

6. Avoid tight shoes
Not only is it painful and less comfortable, but it simply refuses to come off if your feet swell. It is best to wear comfortable shoes while traveling. Use the tongs, the flights that you provide. They are super comfortable and soft and feel incredible! Tight shoes - especially with straps around the ankles - can be a horror. Strictly avoided.

7. Wear compression stockings
The stockings are a blessing on a long flight! They are scaled down, which are usually thigh. They are designed and adapted so that they exert more pressure on the ankles. The pressure gradually decreases as the lower lift your leg. The blood is actually pushed up the ankle, avoiding swollen feet.

Even with so many things to avoid swollen feet during air travel, your feet will swell at least a bit I think. So here are some exercises to fly after you can do to get your feet in shape.
