Bladderwrack Carnitine Supplements

Bladderwrack is rarely used alone as a supplement, but is formulated as an ingredient of support in various formulations. It is often used in dietary supplement products designed for weight loss, burning fat, improving thyroid function, and energy increases. It is even more common in cosmetic formulations to improve skin tone and health. Like many types of supplements of algae, the fucus is used primarily because of its high iodine content, other reasons include its high trace elements, fiber and vitamin B12 content. Thus, there are good theoretical reasons for including such supplements in the diet.

Iodine is necessary for the production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland. Low levels of thyroid hormones are associated with reduced energy levels and weight gain. In some cases, people struggling for years to control weight have finally come to find their thyroid hormone levels are low, with the help of their doctors, they found a solution may be for vegetarians who do can not consume adequate levels of carnitine and its precursor amino acids (lysine and methionine) in their diet. For general cardioprotective effects, carnitine supplementation may be beneficial to help maintain blood lipid profiles and promote the use of fatty acids in heart muscle. The benefits of carnitine supplementation on the "strength of heart" in cases of congestive heart failure and in post-myocardial infarction and post-surgical conditions can be improved by combination with supplementation of coenzyme Q10.

CARNITINE

Carnitine is an amino acid found in food in meat and dairy products, but it is also synthesized in the liver and kidneys from lysine and methionine. The main function of carnitine is to facilitate the transport and metabolism of long chain fatty acids in mitochondria from oxidation 'and energy production. As a dietary supplement, carnitine has been marketed to improve endurance, increase metabolism of fat, less cholesterol and triglycerides, and improve cardiovascular performance (as a cardioprotective effect in general).
